When I see ‘blog’ on a mainstream news site, I usually roll my eyes because they often are just a short rehash of articles elsewhere and rarely have in depth writing in them like you often find at other blogs. But CNNSI’s World Cup Pub Blog is a clear exception. Written by various CNNSI writers, they chronicle their pub hopping in NYC during various matches trying to find hot spots of fans from various countries. The posts are very well done and are enjoyable to read. They’re especially useful if you live in NYC and are looking for some really cool pubs to catch the World Cup.
Welcome to On The Pitch, where all we talk about is youth soccer. Be sure to check our our Youth Soccer Guide, FAQ, and Forums!

Nice blog, too bad they don’t make an RSS feed available… I’ll never remember to go back.

Yeah – why any site would set up a blog with no RSS feed. SHeesh.
Well, off to get the kids into their red, white, and blue! We should be at the Fox & Hound around noon if all goes well. Just look for two very harried parents with 4 kids!
