If you have players that like to stand in front of a throw in, despite you reminding them that they have to stay two yards back, show them this:
OW! I think the blue player was covering up the wrong part of his body for a throw-in.

Ow!! But evidently the kid didn’t learn anything – he was still standing too close to the thrower on the subsequent throw-in!

Given how long the video kept going after he got hit, I half expected him to get beaned with the 2nd throw too!

I bet those two boys have a bit of a history…and the first time might have been a little on purpose, because the second time the kid was in the same position (he must have knocked some gray matter out of his noodle) and the throw in kid went over his head this time.
Also, are doing flip throw in’s popular? (seems a bit pretentious to me)
And I am cracking up about the dad saying “cover yer face! cover yer face!” Back the heck up didn’t cross HIS mind either!
oh priceless.
thanks for that!

hahaha what an idiot, but the ref is at fault here too.He should have warned the player the first time that he was standing too close and made him move before the throw was taken. At the second attempt, the player should have been shown a yellow card.

I agree ironsfan – I could not believe the kid went right back to the touchline again.
