What Is The Corner Flag For?

Rating: -1

Positive Negative

Corner flags are used to make it easy for referees to tell if the ball crossed the touchline (which results in a throw in) or the end line (which results in a goal kick or corner kick). If the ball hits a corner flag and bounces back onto the field, it is still in play! Corner flags should be no less than 5ft/1.5m tall.
