Last year I had shared our league’s soccer team manager handbook and a number of people found it useful, so I figured I’d post our latest version we just published. Almost 50 pages long, it covers just about every aspect of team management for Rec and Travel teams (below regional teams). Some of the information is specific to North Carolina, but the rest is pretty universal.

And yes, we’re working on a coach and parent handbook as well. Our coaching handbook will likely be based on a recent presentation by our DOC.

As a new team manager that will meet with the coach for the first time today, this was an excellent guide to prepare me for that meeting. I feel like I will ask the right questions to start off on the right foot with the coach and the team. Thanks for sharing!
